My commitment is to the people of our district and the people of Detroit, not to any particular special interest group or specific person.  I expect to have a high degree of interaction with the Community Advisory Council so that I am truly representing the will of the people.  In the spirit of integrity, transparency and accessibility, here are the things I am considering:

• How can the City Council bring accountability to the Detroit government?

• Should we add more citizen oversight to certain government departments?

• Establishment of an 'in district' office so that I can be more accessible to residents.
